CHEXS is seeking a compassionate and motivated Family Support Worker to join our dynamic team. You’ll work directly with families, children, and young people to deliver one-to-one support, parenting workshops, creative family sessions, and group programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored family support on issues like behaviour, communication, and relationships
Facilitate group sessions, drop-ins, and parenting workshops
Work collaboratively in schools, homes, and community settings
Support young people’s personal development and wellbeing
Keep accurate records and contribute to impact reports for funders
Build strong partnerships with schools, local authorities, and community organisations
Promote the values and visibility of CHEXS in the local community
You’ll be an excellent communicator, a strong team player, and have a proactive, solution-focused approach. Experience in family support or youth work is desirable, and a commitment to safeguarding and reflective practice is essential.
