Summary
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor to strengthen their existing team.
This role is based in Wanlip.

Senior Health and Safety Advisor role:
Wanlip is a high-profile construction project requiring strong health and safety leadership to ensure compliance, manage risks, and foster a culture of safety excellence.
The role involves embedding health and safety practices within multidisciplinary teams and promoting the cultural change program to enhance safety standards across the project.
Senior Health and Safety Advisor responsibilities:
Drive a proactive safety culture by engaging stakeholders and championing SHEQ risk management to deliver exceptional performance at a senior level.
Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, systems, and controls to reduce risks and promote a positive SHEQ culture.
Collaborate with the project director, construction teams, contractors, and external bodies to seamlessly integrate health and safety into the project workflow.
Coordinate and support the execution of SHEQ assurance audits.
Lead or assist in accident and incident investigations in collaboration with the Head of SHEQ.
Integrating within the wider project teams to understand day to day challenges.
Working with our client to deliver collaborative approaches to SHEQ.
Exposure to the project management lifecycle of project delivery.
Identify opportunities for sustainable solutions, analyse key performance trends, and maintain externally certified management systems.
Senior Health and Safety Advisor requirements:
Ability to collect, analyse and evaluate large volumes of data whilst maintaining data integrity.
Ability to identify trends in data and clearly articulate the issue or findings.
Proven experience of working as part of a SHEQ team.
Ability to interpret legislation and Approved codes of Practise.
Good Microsoft Office skills especially Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
Flexible approach to work in terms of both time and location.
