Location: Southend-on-Sea
Project Type: Large Residential Development (Retirement Village)
Duration: Approx. 12 months
Rate: £26 per hour
Start Date: Immediate start
We are currently looking for an experienced Duct Fitter / Duct Erector to join a long-term residential project in Southend-on-Sea. The project is a large retirement village, and the role involves the installation of plastic ducted air systems across multiple residential units.
Key Responsibilities:
• Installation and erection of plastic residential ducting systems
• Working from drawings and layouts to install ventilation systems to
specification
• Ensuring airtightness, correct routing, and compliance with building regulations
• Working efficiently as part of a team on a busy live construction site
Requirements:
• Proven experience in plastic duct system installation (residential)
• Ability to read and interpret ductwork drawings
• Own tools and PPE
• Valid CSCS card
• Good communication and coordination skills on-site
