A forward-thinking fit-out contractor in London is looking to bring a Quantity Surveyor into their commercial team due to a strong pipeline of secured work.
With projects typically ranging between £1m-£25m, this contractor delivers high-spec CAT A, CAT B, and bespoke fit-outs across commercial offices, hospitality, and retail spaces. You'll be joining a stable, privately owned business with a reputation for quality delivery and a no-nonsense, collaborative approach.
The Role:
You'll be working closely with the project and commercial leads to ensure smooth running across multiple live schemes. Your day-to-day will include:
- Taking ownership of procurement and subcontract packages
- Managing applications, valuations, variations, and cost reporting
- Supporting with pre-construction cost planning and tender returns
- Ensuring accurate financial control from start to finish
What They're Looking For:
- Minimum 3 year's experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
- Strong understanding of fit-out and interiors, ideally London-based
- Comfortable with JCT contracts and tight programme delivery
- Sharp attention to detail, commercially switched-on, and proactive
- Degree-qualified or equivalent experience
