Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumber to undertake 1st and 2nd fix plumbing installations and general plumbing repairs in residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and complies with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1st Fix Plumbing
• Install pipework for hot and cold-water systems, waste water drainage, and heating systems prior to plastering and finishing.
• Fit underground pipework, bathroom waste pipes, and kitchen pipework.
• Prepare and route pipework for boilers, hot water cylinders, and radiators.
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure seamless installation and avoid clashes with electrical or structural works.
2nd Fix Plumbing
• Connect and install visible fixtures such as sinks, toilets, baths, showers, and radiators after plastering is complete.
• Fit taps, valves, and other finishing components.
• Test and commission all installed systems, ensuring leak-free and efficient operation.
Plumbing Repairs
• Diagnose and repair faults in existing plumbing systems, including leaks, blockages, and faulty fixtures.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure continued safe operation.
• Replace worn or damaged parts and fixtures as required.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with clients and team members.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience in 1st and 2nd fix plumbing, including installation and repair work[6][1].
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and pipework schematics[6][2].
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements[1][2].
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
