Summary
About the role:
The role is primarily to ensure the services and equipment in Corporate
properties are properly serviced and inspected to ensure the safety of all users of the building including staff and members of the public.
You will be required to instruct contractors and PCC staff to carry out inspections and to receive and log the certificates and approve the invoices for the work involved.
There is a software system to control the inspections and specialist training will be given for this on appointment.
About you:
The successful candidate will be someone who has a commitment to provide
quality services and has an ability to communicate across all levels of the authority.
There is a requirement for a flexible approach to working in the team and
attention to detail is important.
A previous experience of working in a construction role may be an advantage.
What you will do:
The position will involve:
-entering data onto a bespoke IT system.
-Communicating with external and internal contractors.
-Communicating within the immediate team and with other members of the wider Property team.
- reviewing certificates, invoices and other data.
- providing information for others to compile reports.
There is no DBS Check requirement for this position
