Summary
Job Title: Qualified Electrician (Level 3)
Location: Southampton and surrounding areas Company: Offgrid Pro Ltd Job Type: Full-Time Salary: In line with JIB rates Start Date: Immediate
About Us: Offgrid Pro Ltd is a leading specialist in off-grid and renewable energy systems. We design, install, and maintain advanced off-grid electrical solutions for residential and commercial clients across the South Coast. Due to increasing demand, we are looking for a skilled and motivated electrician to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install, commission, and maintain off-grid electrical systems including solar PV, battery storage, and generator integration.
· Perform electrical testing, fault finding, and system diagnostics.
· Complete EICR and other certification to BS7671 standards.
· Work on both domestic and light commercial properties.
· Liaise with clients on-site to ensure satisfaction and understanding of systems.
· Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
Essential Requirements:
· City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
· 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing qualification.
· Full UK driving licence and own reliable vehicle.
· Minimum 1-year post-qualification experience.
· Good knowledge of off-grid systems or willingness to be trained.
· Excellent communication and organisational skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.
Desirable:
· Experience with Victron, Pylontech, or similar off-grid systems.
· Solar PV or battery storage certification (e.g., MCS, NICEIC, or equivalent).
· CSCS card or relevant site qualifications.
