The Role:
Are you driven to make a real difference in the lives of people facing homelessness? Join our Housing Solutions team as a Rough Sleeping Assessment and Prevention Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract
In the role of Rough Sleeping Assessment and Prevention you will work on the frontline to support some of the most vulnerable individuals in our community. From conducting in-depth homelessness assessments to developing personalised housing plans, you’ll play a vital role in preventing and relieving homelessness—working closely with partners, landlords, and support services to deliver sustainable housing solutions.
This is a dynamic and rewarding role as the Rough Sleeping Assessment and Prevention Officer, this role is for someone who thrives in fast-paced, people-focused environments. You’ll be based in the heart of the community, often working alongside partner agencies to reach those most in need
As a Rough Sleeping Officer, you will need a strong understanding of housing legislation and a passion for safeguarding and advocacy, you’ll help shape brighter futures and contribute directly to the city’s Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy. This role is fixed term for the purpose of assessing the requirement of the service going forward and will end 12 months from start date.
