Summary
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking VAN/HGV drivers to join a busy team in Sheffield, specialising in house removals and waste collection services.
This role involves driving several vehicles to transport furniture, household goods and waste materials safely and efficiently across local and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely driving removal vans or waste collection vehicles around Sheffield and nearby locations
Loading and unloading items carefully to avoid damage
Assisting with moving furniture and other heavy items — physical fitness is essential
Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep
Pre-use vehicle checks and accurate log-keeping
Adherence to road safety and driver compliance standards
Who We’re Looking For:
Valid UK driving licence (category relevant to the vehicle type - Cat. B/C or C+E)
Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Graph Card
Experience in driving vans or waste collection trucks is preferred, but not essential
Physically fit and confident in lifting heavy items regularly
Good knowledge of Sheffield local roads and surrounding areas
Strong work ethic, reliability and excellent timekeeping
