We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher to join our friendly and supportive team at Anton Infant school from September 2025.

Our children and teaching team are looking for a person who;

• Loves working as a team but can also work on your own initiative
• Believes learning should be purposeful and fun
• Can think creatively about delivery of learning so that children are engaged and interested
• Has high expectations of children and adults you work with (and yourself of course!)
• Wants to develop professionally within an experienced staff


We know the challenges of working in an infant school and have year group partners to work with and plan alongside so that you’re not on your own. We pride ourselves on ensuring our staff get a well thought out programme of CPD and opportunities to work collaboratively.

• Have recent Infant teaching experience
• Have an understanding of effective assessment strategies including the use of AFL, to meet the learning needs of all pupils
• Be able to use data, assessment and target setting to impact positively on pupil progress
• Be committed to raising standards and improving progress for all children
• Have experience of delivering a high quality, broad, balanced and exciting curriculum covering all aspects of learning
• Be innovative and shows initiative, demonstrating creative ideas to support the development of an enriched and vibrant curriculum which reflects our school values
• Have the ability to plan to meet the needs of all groups of pupils - demonstrating high expectations and standards
• Use a range of positive behaviour strategies to effectively promote outstanding behaviour for learning
• Have a willingness to participate in school activities including extra-curricular activities and school related community events
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work as part of a forward thinking team
• Be a reflective learner who is always open to new initiatives
• Be committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children
