Summary

About the role
- Bury Youth Service provides both universal and targeted support to young peoples including those facing barriers to achievement and wellbeing. Services are delivered in a variety of settings and the nature of work driven by the needs of young people, ensuring that they have a voice in shaping the activities and services available to them.

- Three 0.5FTE roles are advertised, with one of these having a focus on sport - identifying and delivering physical activity based sessions to help young people reach their potential.

- Team dynamics (including reporting manager and any line management responsibility)
- Location - Elizabethan Suite and across Bury
- Must have JNC recognised or Youth Work NVQ3 equivalent, or degree level qualification in related field, alongside experience of planning and delivery of work with young people across a range of settings.


Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based (pro rate for 0.5FTE) around the usual business working week. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
