Summary
The general urological duties would be shared with the present Consultants who cover in-patient work at Stepping Hill Hospital and out-patient responsibilities between Stepping Hill Hospital, Tameside, Macclesfield and Mid Cheshire. In addition, the post-holder will be expected to uphold the standards required for urology cancer accreditation, the cancer standards including Inter-Trust transfers and 18 week targets. The contract will be offered at 10 PA and the rostered sessions may vary from week to week. 1.5 SPA will be allocated. All Consultants may be requested to work flexibly in undertaking their duties. This may require working during the evenings and weekends to ensure effective delivery of service and its sustainability. The need for any alterations will be highlighted by the Clinical Director and discussed with all relevant Consultants. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary.In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.
