Ysgol Mynydd Isa School is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, creative and fun Mid-day Supervisory Assistant to join our team and provide supervisory support to the children at lunch times. We are looking for an individual who has the ability to secure the safety, welfare and positive behaviour of pupils who can also develop creative games and activities outside with the children.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Supervising and monitoring pupils during lunchtime period
• Encouraging lunchtime play activities
• Responding to incidents as necessary, giving first aid and dealing with unacceptable behaviour
• Encouraging positive social interaction and good behaviour.
• Encouraging children to participate in activities and appropriate behaviour with others
• Assisting children to partake in eating their lunches and development of meal time skills
