      The Opportunity

      Working alongside vets and registered nurses, the VCA will:

      • Prepare consulting rooms, theatre and kennels to the highest hygiene standards


      • Handle and restrain dogs, cats and small furries safely for examinations and treatments


      • Monitor in‑patients, record observations and provide basic husbandry and comfort care


      • Guide clients on routine healthcare, practice services and post‑visit queries


      • Maintain stock levels, assist with reception tasks and contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere


        About You
        • Demonstrable passion for animal welfare and client service


        • Confident communicator who enjoys teamwork as well as independent tasks


        • Calm, organised and physically able to handle animals of all sizes


        • Previous experience in a veterinary or animal‑care setting advantageous, but full training provided


        • Basic computer literacy and a flexible approach to Saturday working
