* What We Offer
- Level 2 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship (with the option to progress to Level 4)
- Non-Medical Helper Training delivered by the National Autistic Society
- Diverse practical experience in:
= Domiciliary care
= Educational support settings
= Advocacy and empowerment roles (including local councils)
You’ll gain the skills and confidence to work across multiple support pathways and contribute meaningfully to the lives of individuals with autism and other neurodiverse conditions.
* Essential Requirements
- A degree in any subject OR a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Completion of Neurodiversity Wales's Autism Awareness Certification
* Desirable Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with autism, ADHD, or mental health conditions.
- Safeguarding training (Children and/or Adults).
- Training or experience in NMH support work.
* Important Information
- Appointment is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
- Role is dependent on external funding availability.
