Summary

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people affected by domestic abuse. If this is you, we have a brilliant opportunity available as an Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA).

This dynamic role aims to deliver trauma-informed support to victim/survivors of domestic abuse alongside supporting services across the city, to safeguard the members of our communities from experiencing harm.

As an IDVA, you will be play a pivotal role in helping create safer communities. You will work collaboratively with the residents of Manchester and partner agencies to develop safety plans and empower victim/survivors to regain control of their lives.

This is a unique opportunity to be part a independent domestic violence advisory team which sits within the local authority, benefitting from access to the resources and services available within the organisation.
