Summary
A senior or principal level planner (x2), MRTPI chartered status.
These contract planners are needed for two reasons: first, due to a shortage of two principal planner positions in the DM Team due to a failed recruitment attempt to fill two permanent positions.
One of these roles will focus on a standard caseload of DM planning applications and pre-application enquiries, working as part of the area DM teams on day-to-day planning matters.
The second role is more focused on DM planning applications and enquiries that are below the NSIP threshold, but related to the consented Sizewell C development; this will include major worker accommodation proposals and a variety of development projects under the Town and Country Planning Act that require a bespoke DM resource to focus on
