Summary

Discrepancy Processing Clerk


What to expect
The role requires collation of data extracted from business systems, achieving a balance with physical documents and maintaining GL entries. It involves the preparation of discrepancy notifications to branches and managing CCTV requests from Postmasters as per the discrepancy process.



Key responsibilities include, providing quality service to Postmasters, managing their enquiries and challenges through resolution and effectively communicating these outcomes to ensure Postmaster satisfaction.



Alongside this, you will have the opportunity to work with data, producing management information reports for monitoring and performance and collaborating with the wider Supply Chain to achieve satisfactory outcomes for branch queries

What you’ll need to succeed
As a Discrepancy Processing Clerk, you will possess first-class communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. It would be advantageous to have previous customer communication experience. Additionally, you will have:

Basic understanding of Business IT systems.
Experience working in a service environment and meeting service levels and quality targets.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 and demonstrating good all-round IT skills.
Ability to adhere to clear instructions and processes.
Flexibility in undertaking various roles and working as directed by Manager
Good interpersonal skills to foster dialogue with other teams within and outside the Supply Chain.
Effective team player with problem-solving skills using data and operational knowledge.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
