Summary
All clinical aspects of Obstetrics Perform duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances at the request of the appropriate Consultant, in consultation where practical, with colleagues both senior and junior has been agreed between the profession and the Department that while juniors accept that they will perform such duties, the Secretary of State stresses that additional commitments arising under this subsection are exceptional and that juniors should not be required to undertake work of this kind for prolonged periods or on a regular. Instruction of student nurses, pupil midwives and undergraduate medical students from Warwick Lecturing to student nurses and pupil midwives and undergraduate medical students, providing the holder of the post is recognised as a lecturer by the Central Midwives Involvement in research / audit is required, and although no time is specifically allocated for this purpose for any of the medical staff in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, there is a busy audit programme in progress. Attendance at administrative meetings is encouraged. The Acute Unit has developed The Directorate System of administration.
