Summary

McGinley Support Services are looking for a PO (Points Operator) to join a rail based project we have in Stone.

The Point Operator will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of track point mechanisms and related systems, ensuring smooth and safe train movements.

Location: Stone, Staffordshire (ST15)
Period: Week 19 - Saturday 2nd August to Sunday 9th August 2025

Shift Patterns:

  • Night Shifts: Saturday 2nd August to Thursday 7th August 2025

  • 22:00 - 07:00 (Paid for 10 hours per shift)
    (7 shifts in total)

  • Day Shifts: Sunday 3rd August to Friday 8th August 2025 -

  • 06:30 - 15:00 (Paid for 10 hours per shift)

  • (6 shifts in total)

  • Essential Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Point Operator role or similar railway operations position

  • Valid qualifications and certification relevant to the role

  • Ability to commit to all shifts within the selected shift pattern (either night or day shifts)

  • Local candidates only - no accommodation (digs) or travel expenses provided

  • Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and a strong understanding of safety standards in rail operations
