Job Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
Shift Options Available:
Work Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off
• Static Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour (with a 1-hour unpaid break)
• Static Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Pay Rate: £15.63 per hour for hours worked between 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Remaining 3.5 hours paid at £12.50 per hour
Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Driver to join our team in Barnsley. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, and put away stock in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a reach truck to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and storage areas.
• Ensure the accurate placement of stock within the warehouse.
• Conduct routine inspections of the reach truck to ensure safety and proper functioning.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse policies.
• Assist in inventory management and stocktaking as required.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
Qualifications:
• Valid reach truck license is required.
• Previous experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and capability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
