We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and forward-thinking person and are excited to recruit a Support Worker to support a person within our service in Plymouth.



About the Role:

CURC is a 25-year-old young lady who is a fun loving and cheeky individual, who has a diagnosis of hypertonia and a mild learning difficulty. CURC is able to communicate verbally very clearly and will make it very clear around likes and dislikes, choices and able to hold detailed and strong conversations. She is looking for some extra support for 9 hours a week based on one 4-hour shift and one 5-hour shift, which can be flexible throughout the week, this could be weekdays or weekends, evening or mornings but not too early. I would like people to help further motivate me, help improve my cooking skills, with shopping, banking, attending and organizing appointments. the right person will be female up for a laugh happy to have the mickey taken and take the mickey back. Being a good active listener, a driver would be preferable due to helping with shopping and my mobility when carrying shopping and when I am feeling unwell. Someone who is bubbly but relaxed with it and not bossy.


About the usual working pattern:

Working pattern will be based over a 2-week rolling pattern and can be flexible, C would like a 4-hour shift and 5-hour shift
in each week.
