Human Resources Business Partner
Dumfries | Full-time/Fixed Term 1 Year (extendable) | CIPD Level 5+ | 2 Direct Reports
We’re seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team and play a key role in delivering strategic and operational HR across our college.
In this pivotal role, you'll support senior leaders with workforce planning, change management, and employee relations. You'll lead initiatives around staff engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion, while ensuring compliance with employment law, safeguarding, and sector regulations.
What you’ll bring:
✅ Strong HR advisory/partnering experience (ideally in education/public sector)
✅ Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations
✅ Confident working with unions and complex casework
✅ CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
