Summary
We are looking for a highly organised, hands-on Aircraft Dispatch Coordinator to join our team at Oxford Airport. This is a physically active role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, on-the-ground environment and enjoys being close to the aircraft operation.
You will report to the Operations Manager and take responsibility for the coordination of both fixed-wing and rotary aircraft movements. This includes overseeing all departures and arrivals at Oxford, regardless of whether passengers are onboard, and ensuring that every flight is supported with the right preparation and resources.
Working closely with various departments, you will help ensure that crew and ground staff are in place for all scheduled and ad-hoc flights. You’ll liaise with Oxford Airport for optimal parking arrangements and play a key part in ensuring that aircraft are cleaned, restocked, checked, and correctly positioned before each departure. You’ll also support cabin crew with aircraft preparation and act as the point of contact for passengers at the airport.
This role involves regular physical activity, including walking airside, lifting supplies, assisting with stock deliveries, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. You will also assist freelance crew with familiarisation of our facilities and procedures, support the upkeep of the crew room and office environment, and carry out any other duties as assigned by the Chairman, their representatives, or the Director of Operations.
To succeed in this role, you must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and be able to obtain a Basic DBS check. Aviation experience is helpful but not essential — we’re looking for someone who is practical, adaptable, and ready to get stuck in.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a close-knit operations team and gain valuable experience in both executive jet and helicopter operations.
