Calderdale strives to develop our community to improve the local economy. Within Calderdale the Corporate Projects Team develop, commission and deliver the implementation of specific projects that directly support the delivery of the Town Centre Delivery Plan. The implementation of which seeks to stimulate regeneration and growth within the Town Centre.

Duties of the role include;
1) Carry out the Councils policy with regard to the School Crossing Patrol Service which includes Health and Safety Procedures.

2) Use all uniform and equipment provided for the safety of yourself, children and all other members of the public, especially when stopping traffic on the highway.

3) Maintain control over children who are waiting for your instruction to cross.

4) Operation of hazard warning signs (where applicable).

5) Report any problems or difficulties to the Manager of the School Crossing Patrol Service.

6) Complete all necessary paperwork.

Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
