More detail about the role We have 2 Gynaecology theatres and 1 obstetric theatre within the department and cover the emergency obstetric service 24hrs a day. We work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in theatre and the wider hospital, to provide safe and effective care tour patients. There is a strong emphasis on team work and we pride ourselves on the standards we maintain within the unit. We carry out a wide range of Gynaecological surgery including robotic, major oncological surgery and laparoscopic procedures. We also work closely with the maternity services to provide care to women undergoing caesarean section and other obstetric procedures We are looking for a self-motivated and compassionate individual to help provide the highest standards of care for the women in our unit. If you join before the implementation date, the pay award will be backdated to your start date.
