Please see our interactive candidate information pack for more information on this opportunity and working at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust: Candidate Information Pack Medicine for Older People The successful candidate will be expected to take part in the acute medical on call rota at SFT on a 1:16 basis, as well as other clinical commitments such as acute care ward rounds, frailty same day emergency care, rapid access clinics, Specialist clinics (including Parkinson's disease and falls), and MDT meetings. The post is advertised as full time (10 PAs), but less than full time or flexible working would also be welcomed. *There is also a generous relocation package available to candidates, up to a maximum of £8,000 (terms and conditions apply), as well as a £22 000 welcome payment (terms and conditions apply). Repayment clause applies to both the welcome payment and assistance with relocation. Payments for the £22,000 welcome payment will be made in two payments. An initial payment will be made at the point the individual commences employment with the Trust and then a further payment made 12 months after the initial joining date. This welcome payment is only open to applicants joining us as afull-time or part-time permanent Consultant Medicine for Older People.* *A relocation payment of up to £8,000 in addition is also on offer to applicants who are joining us as a full-time or part-time permanent. This is not open to locum/fixed term contacts.Payment for relocation is paid once you have commenced with the trust andis subject to relevant terms and conditions.* **Both the welcome payment and assistance with relocation are subject to repayment clause should you leave the Trust within a three year period. The repayment terms would be included in the offer and contract of employment as follows:- If you leave within the first 12 months 100% to be repaid If you leave within 12 to 24 months 60% to be repaid If you leave within 24 to 36 months 30% to be repaid** Please see attached candidate information pack and person specification for full details of roles and responsibilities.
