Summary
Skilled HOD Carrier / Bricklayer's Mate - Grinding Out & Repointing Support
Cramlington Site
Full Time | Monday to Friday | 39 hours per week

Search Consultancy are currently recruiting for an experienced Skilled HOD Carrier / Bricklayer's Mate to assist with grinding out and repointing work on a busy construction site in Cramlington.
This role is ideal for someone with solid site experience supporting bricklayers, especially on detailed restoration or maintenance projects. You'll play a key part in keeping work moving efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting bricklayers with grinding out and repointing tasks
* Preparing materials and maintaining a tidy work area
* Mixing mortar and assisting with tool handling
* Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards
* Working closely with the bricklaying team to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
* Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Green accepted, depending on experience)
* Previous experience as a HOD carrier or bricklayer's mate on similar projects
* Strong work ethic and ability to work under minimal supervision
* Full PPE
* References to verify recent site experience
