Care Concern Group is growing… fast.

With 129 care homes (and counting) across the UK, we've proudly become a market leader in elderly care. In just the past year, we’ve celebrated the acquisition of 37 new homes and the commissioning of 17 brand-new services and that momentum is showing no signs of slowing down.

We’re not just proud of our growth, we’re proud of our people. That’s why we’re looking to welcome an exceptional HR Business Partner to support our operations across Edinburgh, Fife, and Perth. This is a rare opportunity to shape how we support, engage, and develop our workforce as we continue to scale.

About the Role

As our HR Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and Home Managers, aligning HR strategy with business goals and driving high-performance across your region. You’ll bring both operational know-how and strategic vision, delivering meaningful change, championing best practice, and creating a positive, engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and deliver a people strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
  • Lead on key HR projects, including restructuring, TUPE transfers, and cultural transformation.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues in line with employment law, ACAS guidance, and policy.
  • Collaborate with Centres of Excellence in recruitment, L&D, and talent acquisition.
  • Analyse workforce data to identify trends and inform HR decisions.
  • Promote DEI initiatives and drive employee engagement across the region.
  • Support succession planning and organisational development.
  • Ensure policies and practices remain compliant, consistent, and current.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience); working towards Level 7 is a bonus.
  • Proven HRBP experience in a UK organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
  • Ability to influence, coach and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing change, restructures, and OD initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving, commercial acumen, and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience in a unionised environment.
  • Background in healthcare, social care, or professional services.
  • Practical experience with TUPE, redundancy, and complex ER cases.
