As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a key role in deploying Health, Safety, Environment and Quality best practices aligned with the OneISS approach, supporting the successful mobilisation of a new client contract.

This role is pivotal in embedding a strong safety culture and compliance from day one, ensuring that all health and safety procedures, safe systems of work, and risk management practices are fully implemented and followed.

Job Description

As HSEQ Advisor, you will work closely with client counterparts to ensure our HSEQ processes align with their expectations, while maintaining ISS’s high internal standards.

Operating both independently and as part of broader mobilisation programmes, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining robust safety systems, understanding the risk profile of the contract, and delivering proactive, practical HSEQ support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide competent HSEQ advice, coaching and mentoring to operational teams
Support the deployment of HSEQ mobilisation plans and identify key risk areas
Champion ISS HSEQ campaigns like Safe Choice and Wellbeing initiatives
Collaborate with the client and third parties (e.g. HSE, Environment Agency) as needed
Work flexibly within the HSEQ team to ensure mobilisation success
Focus on executing assigned responsibilities, coordinating with wider ISS stakeholders
Use reporting tools like Insight to identify and address risk areas effectively

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Strong HSEQ experience with solid understanding of management systems
Background in FM or large corporate environments preferred
Customer-facing experience essential
Engineering Health & Safety knowledge required
NEBOSH General Certificate or higher is essential
Proven ability to identify and manage operational risks
Confident working with stakeholders and external regulatory bodies
