Summary

Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about governance and meaningful administrative work?
We’re looking for a dedicated Administration Officer and Governance Support to help ensure the smooth, compliant running of our charity.

As part of the Administration / Governance Support role, you will be:

    • Supporting governance, compliance, and GDPR processes, including maintaining policies and assisting with audits
    • Coordinating board and committee meetings – preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions
    • Managing admin for volunteers and clients, including appointment scheduling, record-keeping, and handling enquiries
    • Supporting finance processes – processing invoices, reconciling transactions, and using Xero
    • Coordinating counselling services – managing referrals, scheduling sessions, and ensuring accurate records
    • Other administration duties as and when required

    To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

      • Experience in governance, compliance, or charity administration
      • Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills
      • A proactive, detail-focused approach and confidence handling sensitive information
      • Knowledge of GDPR and ideally experience using Xero

      This is a temporary position working part time, 25 hours per week Monday to Friday (typically 9:00am - 14:00pm) for initially 3 months. This role is based in Abergele and is offering an hourly rate of £13 -£13.74 per hour PLUS holiday pay!
