Summary

Job Title: Part-Time Payroll Adminsitrator
Location: Bromsgrove
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (Pro Rata)
Hours: Part-Time - 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll processing for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.


  • Handle payroll-related queries from clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, resolving them effectively.


  • Perform both routine and more complex administrative payroll tasks.


  • Set up and onboard new client payrolls.


  • Communicate regularly and professionally with clients and internal teams regarding payroll matters.


  • Establish pension schemes, submit pension schedules, and respond to related inquiries.


  • Administer auto-enrolment and re-declaration of pensions.


  • Stay informed on current payroll legislation and regulatory changes.


  • Ensure all payroll processes comply with relevant regulations and data protection standards (GDPR).


    Minimum Requirements:

    • At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing.


    • Proficiency in using BrightPay payroll software.


    • Experience in a payroll bureau or accountancy practice environment (preferred).


    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


    • Strong multitasking ability and capacity to prioritize workload.


    • Able to work both independently and collaboratively.


    • High attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality results.


    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
