Hours: 37.5 per week
Schedule:
• Monday – Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
• Friday: 08:00 – 13:30 (early finish!)
Job Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and confident MIG Fabricator to join a well-established manufacturer in Redditch. You’ll be working with large steel components, fabricating from technical drawings, and occasionally working at height. This is a straight permanent position with consistent hours, competitive pay, and long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities
• MIG weld large steel structures with precision and consistency
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings
• Use ladders and operate safely at height when necessary
• Follow all health & safety and quality standards
• Support the team in maintaining high production and craftsmanship standards
What We're Looking For
• Proven MIG welding/fabrication experience
• Ability to read and work confidently from technical drawings
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
• Good eye for detail and quality control
• Team player with a proactive work ethic
