Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operative on behalf our Chesterfield based client
This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in a hands-on production environment.
This role involves working in a dusty, industrial setting, so being comfortable with physical work and wearing full PPE is essential.
Production Operative - Your Role:
• Completing basic computer input tasks to track materials and job progress
• Performing repetitive but vital production processes to support smooth and continuous output
• Conducting manual handling of materials and finished products - items can weigh up to 15kg
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and strictly adhering to Health & Safety procedures at all times
Pay & Shifts:
• 3-shift rotation pattern:
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm
• 10:00pm - 06:00am (night shift not currently in operation, would need to be flexible for this returning)
• Regular overtime available:
• Double time on Sundays
• Opportunity to go permanent
Production Operative: Candidate Requirements
• You're comfortable with repetitive tasks and physically demanding work
• A strong eye for detail and pride in the quality of your work
• Willing and able to wear a full-face mask (provided) for dust protection
• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player with a proactive attitude
