Summary
Job title: Male Personal Assistant (PA)
Reporting to: The Employer
Location: Wolverhampton WV10
Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Our client is a 30-year-old male who is a wheelchair user living in the WV10 area of Wolverhampton who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support with daily living tasks for over 11 hours per week.
Main duties:
Social duties
keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
support to access the Gym
attend medical appointments if required
support to access the local community
Personal care: Support with showering, shaving, teeth cleaning, dressing, catheter care, prompting medication.
Domestic duties: Support with grocery shopping, cooking and serving nutritious meals and snacks, cleaning and laundry.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Hours of work: 11.45 hours per week –
45 min call daily @ 12PM
30 min call daily @ 9:30pm
6 hours per week to support with socialisation & accessing services
Rate of pay: £13.50 per hour
Skills, qualifications, and experience
Essential:
driving licence
car and appropriate insurance
previous care & support worker experience
confidentiality
good at building relationships
computer literate
good communicator
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
