Summary

Position: Service & Breakdown Lift Engineer

Location: St Leonards‑on‑Sea, East Sussex

Salary: Competitive, based on experience, plus paid overtime and standby allowance

Hours: Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Operating from St Leonards‑on‑Sea, we now have an exciting opportunity for an NVQ3‑qualified Lift Service Engineer to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on lifts of all brands, ages and models
Respond to breakdowns and complete necessary repairs
Participate in the out‑of‑hours call‑out rota (1 week in 3)
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues

Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering
Versatile, with a solid understanding of fundamental lift systems and mechanics
Proven experience in servicing, repairs and call‑outs
Full UK driving licence
Clean criminal record (essential for work in schools and public‑sector sites)
Reliable, professional and committed to exceptional service
Fluent in English
