In this new role, we’re looking for a confident and capable Internal Communications and Engagement expert to join the Novus People Services team and take the lead in managing all our Internal Communications and Colleague Engagement initiatives.

In this dynamic role, you'll help bring our culture, values, and people strategy to life, connecting colleagues across the business through clear, engaging communications and impactful inclusion and engagement initiatives.

​What you’ll be doing:

Crafting compelling content: from campaigns and leadership comms to newsletters, announcements, and more
Delivering inclusive internal communications across multiple channels (email, intranet, Viva Engage, events, etc.)
Driving engagement strategies and supporting action plans based on feedback, data, and insight
Designing or supporting initiatives that foster inclusion, equity, and belonging
Leading or supporting employee networks and internal campaigns (e.g. wellbeing weeks, inclusion months, recognition events)
Partnering with leaders and people managers to embed inclusive practices and values-driven behaviours
Creating and facilitating workshops, listening sessions, or focus groups that give colleagues a voice
Building connections across departments to embed a consistent, people-first approach
​​What we're looking for;

Proven experience in an internal communications role. Comfortable shaping messages for all audiences, from the frontline to leadership
A flair for writing engaging human-centred content
Solid knowledge of DEIB principles and experience turning them into practical actions
Experience with SharePoint, MS Teams, Viva Engage, and other internal comms tools
Relevant qualifications or professional certifications (e.g. Degree, CIPR, IoIC, CIPD L5 etc.) or equivalent
Strong analytical skills—you can use engagement data and employee feedback to spot trends and drive improvements
The ability to juggle multiple priorities, stay organised, and keep things moving at pace
A collaborative, proactive approach and a passion for building a great place to work
Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, supportive team.
