Summary
Greenbridge Engineering Ltd is a well established, family- run engineering firm known for high quality precision components and a close knit supportive working environment. We are a busy sub-contractor working across a variety of industries.
We are seeking a time served CNC setter & operator to join our team. Programming experience would be preferred but not essential. You will be responsible for producing high quality components to precise specifications with a focus on accuracy, efficiency and safety.
Main duties include:
Setting & operate CNC Colchester with bar feeder function.
Read & interpret drawings.
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Essential skills and competencies:
Time served apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
Proven Fanuc CNC setting and operating experience.
Understanding of machining principles and tooling.
Ability to work independently or part of a team.
Hours of work:
38hrs per week.
Mon - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm
Fri - 7.30am - 11.30am
Overtime when required.
Holidays: 20 days plus all Bank Holidays.
