HIIBA LIMITED, a Black Sheep Coffee franchise known for high-quality, specialty grade coffee and a strong commitment to sustainability and social responsibility, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to join the team. As a Kitchen Manager, the employee will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the efficiency of kitchen operations at the franchise outlet, ensuring an exceptional culinary and coffee-based experience for every customer.
Main duties include:
• Receive deliveries, count and sort stock, track usage, place orders, and remove expired products.
• Prepare menu items, including coffee-based cocktails and local beverages, following franchise recipes and guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on food preparation and fostering a positive work environment aligned with HIIBA LIMITED’s commitment to sustainability.
• Step into roles as needed during busy periods to support the team and ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain records of inventory, waste, and orders, providing updates to the management on kitchen performance and stock status.
Skills and Education:
• Proven experience in kitchen management, food preparation, or a related role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of stock management practices, including FIFO and inventory tracking
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices.
