Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic and inclusive educational setting that caters to pupils aged 2-19 with a diverse range of learning difficulties and disabilities. The provision spans across several specialist sites and mainstream partnership schools, ensuring that each student receives a tailored educational experience that meets their individual needs.
In this role, you will:
- Work collaboratively within a class team under the direction of the class teacher.
- Provide support to pupils in the classroom to facilitate their learning and personal development.
- Assist in the management of pupils and the classroom environment.
- Support pupils in meeting their personal needs, promoting independence and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering the curriculum to pupils with SEND.
- Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning materials to suit individual needs.
- Encourage and promote positive behavior and social interactions among pupils.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
- Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience working with children or young people, preferably in a SEND setting.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the needs of pupils.
- Are proactive, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Hold a relevant qualification in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).
Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.
