The Role: HGV Class 2 Driver
Starting on a temporary contract, this role has the potential to become permanent for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle with vacuum hose and high-pressure water jetting equipment.
- Working closely with a skilled operative, you will assist in the operation of machinery for the clearance and maintenance of roadside drains to prevent blockages and reduce the risk of flooding.
Shift Patterns
- Day Shift - 06:00 - 16:30
- Night Shift – 17:00 – 03:30
Pay Rates
- Days - £13.71 per hour (PAYE)
- Nights – £17.14 per hour (PAYE)
Requirements
- HGV Class 2 Licence with valid CPC.
- Previous experience in highways or drainage work is beneficial.
- Willing to undertake the physical aspect of the work.
