Summary
We are a storage yard for shipping containers based on Garston docks. We inspect containers to assess if any damage and repair as required to make good. We also do container conversions such as making a container into a kiosk, kitchen, gym, stadium etc. As a yard operative you will carry out repairs on shipping containers, paint containers, assist other operatives with any tasks required, general labouring and potentially be trained to drive a counter balance FLT and a container handler to load and unload wagons. Experience of carrying out repairs or general maintenance tasks would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided. Experience of driving FLT's would also be an advantage but again training can be provided. Hours are 08:00am - 16:30pm Mondays to Thursdays & 08:00am - 15:30pm on Fridays but some flexibility may be required depending on the needs of the business.
