Summary

Marketing Executive

Salary – £33,057 per annum

Full-time- 35.75 hours per week

Temporary - 12-month contract

Location - Meadowbank Sports Centre, Edinburgh (Hybrid working)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Executive with a creative mind who will help us make an impact through creative, on-brand marketing campaigns that make a difference.



On a day-to-day basis, you will:

- Develop and implement quarterly and annual marketing strategies to promote

- Edinburgh Leisure’s facilities, services, events, and projects.

- Create, manage, and evaluate multi-channel marketing campaigns, projects, and communication, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.

- Lead on direct and indirect customer communications, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance.

- Conduct market research to analyse trends, brand awareness, and competition to support organisational growth.

- Manage and report on the allocated budgets to maximise ROI and ensure effective resource use.

- Work closely with other members of the marketing and sales team to set marketing objectives and plan activities.

- Provide expert marketing advice to venue teams to ensure adherence to brand standards in all areas.



Our ideal candidate will have:

- A degree in Marketing or a related subject.

- Proven experience in developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns.

- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and create strategic, creative solutions.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to clearly convey information and ideas to diverse audiences.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.

- A proactive, adaptable, and tenacious approach to work.

This is a hybrid role with time spent between our head office at Meadowbank and home working.
