Summary

The Communications and Events Officer will be responsible for organising group-wide events, both remote and face-to-face, including developing event material and supporting the marketing and communications team with developing content and marketing collateral where required.

About the role

Your main duties will include:

- Leading the development of the organisation's event strategy. Agreeing objectives and success measures

- Planning and delivery of all external and owned events taking account of venues, materials, speakers, content, reviews, budget, timelines, etc

- Managing event collateral. Posting out as necessary and organising returns

- Post-event evaluation and producing report for stakeholders

About you

The successful applicant will have:

- Must have worked in a communications, events, or other similar field, or have relevant experience.

- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a sound grasp of grammar.

- Able to work flexibly and to respond effectively to changes in the workload

- Experience of having worked within a large, complex, and multi-site organisation
