Working Arrangement: Hybrid working is part of the working week - days to be agreed with manager when starting.
The role:
On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a temporary PCN Appeals Team Administrator, to support the development and delivery of services within the Management of Place division by providing technical and customer service assistance to the team manager on various projects in front line activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing advice within the Customer Service Centre on enquiries relating to Penalty Charge Notice appeals
Responsible for Data entry onto spreadsheets and databases
Responding to appeals against Penalty Charge Notices
Responding to general enquiries via email
General office and admin duties including opening and logging post
Liaising with other internal departments in relation to more technical appeals
Occasional site visits in order to undertake checks/collate evidence
What the client is looking for:
Customer Service experience with ability to converse both verbally and in writing
Previous experience of working within a local authority Parking Services team
Hold GCSE’s in English and Maths at grade A-C/4-9 or NVQ level 2, or equivalent qualification and/or relevant work experience
Experience of completing administrative procedures in a business environment
Experience in a transport orientated or technical discipline - desirable
Experience of undertaking research and presenting information in a variety of formats e.g. diagrams, maps and graphs etc.
Awareness of legislation relevant to the post
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications or equivalent including the following: Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and have a willingness to learn new applications and technology as appropriate.
