Summary
Booker Group is looking for a full time Social Media Assistant Manager. The role supports flexible hybrid-working options with members of the wider team based at different Booker sites.
This role will provide outstanding, effective support for our Social Media Manager across the Booker Group social platforms, covering Catering and Retail.
- Working with Social Media Manager to ensure activity is delivered in line with Marketing Calendar.
- Brief and manage relevant agencies.
- Support with content creation and copy writing.
- Manage and post content on all social channels, via our copy content calendar and management platform.
- Engage with key stakeholders ensuring launch deadlines are achieved.
- Assisting with planning on a yearly, monthly and weekly basis.
- Creative, proven background in social media, previous experience within a similar role or at university degree level.
- Excellent verbal and written skills with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Confident in using, posting and analysing various social media platforms, and adaptable to new technology.
- Able to critically assess creative work.
- Proven experience delivering engaging communications.
- Confident in dealing with stakeholders.
- Ability to manage deadlines and changing priorities, and to solve problems independently.
- Adaptable – flexible in work approach and in changing workloads and processes.
