With a growing Nursery provision expanding with the support of the DFE, we are looking for experienced Early Years qualified Level 3 staff to join the team at Manor Park Primary Academy.

About the Role:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for the development and daily management of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years. This is an opportunity to shape a nurturing environment where children can thrive. You'll be supported by a network of professionals and will report to the Nursery Manager and the Director of Nurseries.

As a Nursery Practitioner extraordinaire, you'll be an essential part of our team, working to create a secure, happy, caring, and safe environment where children can thrive. You'll be supporting the children’s emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development, and making every day a new adventure. You will:

• Infuse magic into each day, providing the highest standard of care and emotional support.
• Be a champion for inclusion, ensuring every child is valued and their unique needs are met.
• Unleash the power of play, engaging children in exciting activities that spark their curiosity and promote learning.
• Capture every milestone, maintaining accurate records of children's progress.
• Forge strong partnerships with parents and carers, becoming their trusted ally in their child's development.
• Collaborate with a fabulous team, developing our amazing setting.
• Be the guardian of our space, ensuring it’s a safe, clean, and well-equipped haven for our children.
• Be a safeguarding champion, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
• Be a lifelong learner, committing to continuous professional development.
• Be flexible and adaptable, ready to meet the diverse needs of our children and families

What you'll bring:

A full and relevant Early Years Level 3 qualification is essential.

• Willingness to become a certified Paediatric First Aider and Food Hygiene expert.
• A profound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Ofsted regulations.
• A deep-rooted awareness of health and safety, equal opportunities, and safeguarding.
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
• A proven track record in observing, assessing, and planning for children's learning.
• A team-player attitude with excellent communication skills.
• IT wizardry, being comfortable with various IT tools.
• A professional, honest, reliable, and flexible approach.
• A calm, caring, and incredibly enthusiastic nature.
• A healthy sense of humour.
• A profound commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• The ability to apply relevant policies and procedures.
• The ability to use your initiative in situations as they arise.
• To uphold the values and behaviours of the organisation.
• To work inclusively, with a diverse range of stakeholders and promote equality of opportunity
