What skills and experience we're looking for

This is an opportunity for an ECT or experienced Teacher of Primary to join our supportive, professional, and committed team from September 2025. This role covers teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The successful candidate will have consistently high expectations; nurture a thirst for knowledge and understanding, and a love of learning in all our students. You will be committed to raising standards, achieving excellence for all and be a committed member of our school team.

Prendergast Primary School is part of Prendergast Ladywell School, an all-through school from EYFS to Year 11. The primary phase benefits from a purpose built primary building, as well as a stunning outdoor space which includes specifically designed play areas for Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, as well as the school's own Nature Reserve. The school is fortunate to be one of the only primary schools in Lewisham to have its own Teaching Kitchen classroom.
