Summary
Line Leader - Food Production
Location: Bellshill, Scotland
Hours: Monday to Friday 5:15am - 1:45pm
Pay: £13.68 - £14.42 per hour + overtime
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Line Leader to join a fast-growing food production team at a state-of-the-art facility in Bellshill. The successful candidate will oversee daily production line activities, ensuring high-quality standards and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate production lines to meet daily output targets
Monitor quality and safety compliance throughout the production process
Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain line efficiency
Keep detailed production records and reports
Train, supervise, and support production team members
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Communicate regularly with the Production Manager regarding progress and challenges
Requirements:
Previous experience in a production line leadership or supervisory role preferred but not essential
Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
Comfortable using digital tools such as tablets and software
Understanding of food production standards and best practices
Desirable:
Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments
Access to personal transport (public transport available)
Overtime Rates:
Monday to Saturday: 1.5x hourly rate
Sunday: 2x hourly rate

- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
