Summary
Cover Supervisor PS6 (Point 2-6) Actual £27,088 to £29,050 (FTE £29,697 to £31,848) depending on experience Required 1st September 2025
5 days a week – Mon-Fri Term-time only (38.17 hours per week).
(Hours: 7.30am to 3.30pm + to 5pm on Wednesdays)

We are seeking an energetic, committed, and well-qualified person to join our school team and drive the provision of cover across the year groups. This is a superb opportunity to work at Carwarden House School and develop your career and would suit a range of candidates. The principal duty will be to oversee student study by providing classroom cover, implementing set work, monitoring students and reporting on progress during short-term teacher absence. Other duties could involve accompanying school trips and being a Teaching Assistant in lessons in some circumstances.
If you have the ability to encourage students to learn, to maintain discipline in the classroom and can work flexibly during the course of the year, we would like to hear from you. This role would be ideal for someone looking to gain experience before embarking on teacher training.
Carwarden House Community School is an ambitious and dynamic LAN provision providing brilliant learning opportunities for up to 160 students with a complex range of learning and additional needs (11 – 19yrs.).
